Admission of students for various streams of degree courses are selected on the basis of Higher Secondary marks through SAMS (Student Academic Management System) of Higher Education Department, Govt. of Odisha. No. of working days is 250 & teaching days is 180 in the last academic year. Members of Board of Studies, F.M. University, design the curriculum. The institution endeavor to implement the curriculum ingeniously through teaching methods such as presentations, assignments, discussions, workshops, seminars, industrial visits and study tours, computer education, apart from the regular lecture methods. Each teacher prepares lesson plans and maintains a daily progress register which is reviewed by the Principal periodically. There are some invited guests Lectures to impart special teaching and cover up courses during last five years. Student aptitudes are appraised through unit tests and test examination. The teachers have participated different UGC sponsored National/ State Level conferences, presented papers and also attended Refresher Courses and Orientation programmes conducted by ASCs all over the country. Academic Council, Staff Council and the Advisory Committees are main important academic bodies of the institution. The meetings are frequently held on key issues and plans and programmes are chalked out. Decisions taken in the forums for various academic programmes are communicated to students through displaying notices on the notice boards and making announcements in the class rooms by circulation. To develop good personality, leadership quality and social commitment the students are encouraged to participate in various forums of the college such as NCC, NSS, YRC, Student’s Council, College Development Council, Academic Council, Magazine Committee, Gymkhana Committee, etc.

Chandbali College was established in June, 1979, by eminent personalities of this locality with a natural beauty campus of nearly 12 acres. The aim of the college is to offer quality education to students from diverse backgrounds, irrespective of region, religion, caste, economic strata and to develop an all round personality with social responsibility. The institution came under State Governments Grant-in-aid scheme in June, 1984. The college was affiliated to Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar for Intermediate Arts/Commerce Courses and Vocational subjects. The B.A./B.Com. Degree courses were introduced in 1981. Subsequently in 1983 as per the decision of the Govt. of Odisha the I.A./I.Com. Courses were separated from the University courses and + 2 courses were created and the +2 wing of the college got affiliated to the council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa. UGC recognition under 2(f) & 12(b) was obtained in July, 1992. Science classes at +2 level were started in the session 1992-93 and at +3 level started in the session 2003-04. F.M. University came into being in the year 1998 by the state Government and now this institution is under F.M.University, Vyasavihar, Balasore
